Browse Forums Building A New House Re: First home, first build. Redink Homes NOR 41Oct 08, 2013 11:09 am I hope they do come and do yours, doesn't seem fair to have one house have work going on while another doesn't when they are both at the same stage. The guy who did mine had FLAWLESS1 as his number plate in case you do get the same guys. They were quick doing the grey float at mine though so once they start cedes you won't have to wait long. I still have gaps in the Colorbond 20cm wide above the family area for some reason? So I think they will have to wait to have that completed before they can do the white set in there, rain still gets through and I don't think water on white set is ideal lol. Frustratin though when you conpare on here with other redink builds - I sometimes wish I didn't know haha Oh it is for sure. Less visits to your site = greater chances of things being done/ nice surprises remember I think all houses ebb and flow over the course of the build so we all experience that frustration at times. Don't like asking because I feel like I am being impatient and annoying. Saw your post on my page, JK is our old SS, they said he'd moved to another area, our new one is PW, he seems really nice. Our old one was a bit miserable to be honest (on the one occasion we spoke to him, we rang him, he never contacted us!) building with Redink Prestart 21/3/13 Slab down 12/6/13 Brickwork started 5/8/13 Brickwork finished 26/8/13 Roof frame 6/9/13 Colorbond 26/9/13 Grey float 11/10/13 white set 17/10/13 Re: First home, first build.
