Browse Forums Building A New House Re: First home, first build. Redink Homes NOR 161Jan 10, 2014 10:45 am Yeah I don't think Redink were too expensive anyways. No extra news on PCI date yet, still early Feb sometime. Am going to talk to my CLO soon though because I paid for a variation to get some extra paving but it has been missed and because a whole gutter along the garage boundary hasn't been painted. I am going to try to make sure now that little fixes required are pointed out before PCI so there isn't a hold up with handover.. Here are the paving pics btw. Redink Homes NOR 165Jan 17, 2014 10:40 am So all the doors have been painted and hung with doorhandles on as has the front door. Looks like the house has been cleaned too ready for the flooring and blinds next week! Garage door is also on. Would think that there would only be 2 weeks of work until PCI but will wait to hear from them. Redink Homes NOR 176Jan 30, 2014 1:59 pm Excellent news! Can't wait to see more pictures. Re: First home, first build. Redink Homes NOR 178Jan 30, 2014 3:31 pm Took 2 hours asj which gave me time for a thorough look around. Cooktop and range hood weren't working, half the power points weren't working, paint touch-ups needed inside and outside, some slight plaster and cornice cracking, hole for dishwasher drain needs cutting out in cabinetry, some silicone needed around showers and in the wet areas near windows, and blinds also need to be installed. Nothing major so I am happy! Would have liked to spend more time looking around and enjoying being in the house haha but didn't want to hold up the SS too long.
