OMG! 422Jan 20, 2015 11:44 am So so glad you finally have PCI, hoping it's a short fixup list and a very short wait for keys My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: Building in Baldivis- PCI Complete 423Jan 27, 2015 3:09 pm Pci is done. The most major thing was a chipped floor tile and a brick that needs a bit more mortar. That said, we have a list of little things that need fixing too. Bank have said 5-7 days. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! Re: Building in Baldivis- PCI Complete 428Jan 31, 2015 10:26 pm Congrats on PCI! I have popped all the forms through to the bank and am now just waiting.... cos it isn't like I have waited long enough I am getting a little frustrated with myself because a friend was recently selling her car for HEAPS under the market value and we bought it, now I have little money to do things to the house It just means we will wait a little longer for things, meanwhile I realise how much of an entitled brat I am in wanting everything NOW COME OOOOOOOOOOOOON! The bank said 5-7 days turnaround, the builders say 10 days from PCI ( 27th Jan), so HUUUUURRRRRRRRYYYYYY UUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPP. ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! My thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65763 Building in Baldivis- PCI Complete 430Feb 01, 2015 10:49 pm Well done on making it to the end, hopefully there's enough in the budget to pay for the counselling required to feel normal again Re: Building in Baldivis- PCI Complete 431Feb 02, 2015 2:24 pm hahahaha YES! normal is totally not my normal Even now I can't get a specific answer from the builder. I asked the process from here, when is the second inspection, and when do I get my keys? She said the site guy will get back to her as to when he wants the second inspection, then once the bank's money clears, the head office people will contact us for key handover. OMFG. Can't they say, second inspection on day 10, keys once the bank's money clears? Right now I am just in limboland. How long will it take until the second inspection? How long after the money clears will they contact me? Why can't I just make an appointment now like normal people? Hubby can't just take time off work at the drop of a hat, he needs notice. GAH! Anyway, I bought my son a wallpaper mural a little while ago. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I can't wait to see their rooms all done The kitchenette is nearly all painted now, and my daughter's bedroom set is only about 2 more spray paint cans and some wallpaper, off finished (16 cans down). Almost there! ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! She will ask him tomorrow. I phoned the key handover people to try to line up an appointment.....and someone will phone me back ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! When we built our house, we nearly went with their sister company Commodore. They were equally terrible at getting back to us with costs, drawings etc.... I even spoke with their in house finance woman and spent over an hour on the phone, e-mailed all our documents etc... three years later never heard anything back from her!!!! The salesman at the time met us at a display house in Byford to show us what house he was proposing and brought his son with him, who was running round the house and we got approximately 5 minutes to look at the house before he wanted to go!!! So glad we chose Celebration instead. Hope your key handover goes smoothly and welcome to Baldivis Re: Building in Baldivis- Key Handover booked! 438Feb 07, 2015 2:20 am I am glad for you too Rick_PF, I wouldn't want this for anyone. I am unsure as to how the handover will go because they have fixed NOTHING on the list and they have until Wed to have it done, so numerous of my fence panels need replacing, walls need patching, front door repainted, cooktop hooked up, temp control installed in kids' bathroom, a chipped bathroom floor tile replaced, cabinet doors put on laundry cabinet, blind put in the kitchen etcetcetc and NOTHING has been done. What happens if it isn't done within 10 days? ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! Re: Building in Baldivis- Key Handover booked! 440Feb 11, 2015 12:41 am hmmmm, handover is tomorrow. They have swept the floor, but it is still dirty and that is about it. The laundry cabinet doors haven't even been put on. It is like the night before the most important exam of your life and you know that you won't pass. ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done!
