RussnDana: You are right..thanks Rangi: Seems like its trial and error for them. Good if someone agrees and nothing lost if not. mtz08: Basically, our land is titling in Feb 2014. We wanted to do finance together for land and house. So we asked our builder to prioritize our file to make that happen and sign contract before mid January so that we can still give build contract to bank and approve loan for house and land together. But, because admin girl started pushing in very first call, i said no and talked to my bank to make finance application separate for land and house. Overall, it may cost me some more money but i will be happy sign something i know rather than getting nasty surprises later... THEY ONLY JUST SAW THIS. !! I sent that to them last week. And guess what!! They had 8 guys in our house yesterday starting to do the plaster work.
When they realised that we were not budging from having the re inspection done they have gone and called OUR inspector to book an appointment. He of course has to confirm this with us as we pay him. I am so over it. I have called our admin person and no help what so ever. She claims she sent the emails to him and he said he didnt get the emails. I still have not got a letter from Henley saying what they have fixed. Nothing!!! And yet our inspector is going out today to reinspect. I hope everything is ok or I will be fuming. Henley seems to think its ok to say “we have so many houses on the go at the moment” and that should make it all ok. We should just accept 50% customer service from them. I am so unhappy with Henley. They have no customer service skills. They don’t care about you as a customer they just see you as pay day We have our inspection happening 45mins. And I have requested a call from the SS boss but nothing. OHHHH NOOOOO damnn rangi your poor thing!!! it shouldn't be this hard!! grrr... I haven't been happy with Henley's communication either, had to followup with the manager before we got a call from our SS and apparently we have a new construction administrator whom we haven't heard from yet even tho our slabs have been laid today. Ill just have to continue to contact the manager if I need anything I guess... I am more scared now.. If there was better deal in market and enough time to back out, I would have done now.. Also, ask your bank not to pay henley until you get satisfactory inspection on all stages I guess.. Isn't it right ? RussnDana you're not far behind me, we just got our slab poured on Monday, our ss told us we'll have frames and roof before they shut for christmas.
