Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building our Flagstone - Pics of our latest decorating! 301Dec 21, 2008 9:29 pm Hi guys - We are in! We don't have internet yet or a phone line for that matter (awesome work Telstra) but as soon as we do I have a million pictures!
The move went pretty well - all the appliances are in and working perfectly. The first load of washing we did caused a major flood right through the wall and into the lounge room, but all has since been fixed and no permanent damage is evident. We have our new furniture and it all looks lovely, so far we are loving our new home and the area we chose. Fences should be up tomorrow Toni - feel a bit like we are living in a fish bowl at the moment but the temporary blinds from Bunnings are working a treat! Feel free next time you are down this way to pop in and say hi! That is great to hear. I was out our new house all day today and it was lovely. So quiet and I met a few people walking down the street with their dogs when I was out front washing the paint tray and roller. Everyone seems quite friendly. I can't wait to be there full time! ![]() Fences should be up tomorrow Toni - feel a bit like we are living in a fish bowl at the moment but the temporary blinds from Bunnings are working a treat! Regards Re: Building our Flagstone - Pics of our latest decorating! 315Dec 28, 2008 3:22 pm It isn't that clean believe me! I HATE clutter though, so have a habit of throwing out or giving away anything I can't find a spot for (drives DH mad as he is a hoarder!)
So I guess if you don't keep alot of stuff around it seems cleaner? Anyway thanks everyone for the feedback, still lots do, need some art for walls, blinds have been ordered as has a pretty light for the master bedroom. Downlights shouldn't be too far away for the rest of the house and then we have to start on the outside ![]() ![]() Re: Building our Flagstone - Pics of our latest decorating! 316Dec 28, 2008 4:08 pm Sharee, your home looks fantastic!

Firstly we painted the render 'cafe grey' I think it looks much better. Our front landscaping is also done! The idea is to move the tap, and put pavers up the path leading to the door. (fingers crossed the plants can survive this heat) (notice the cheeky baby peeking out the window!)
