Yeah they do have pretty strict regulations, complying with all the estate covenants added quite a bit to our house price, but in a way it was good as most of it was stuff I would loved to have had but probably couldn' thave justified unless we had too (does that make sense?) Stockland have sort have forced our hand into having a nicer house than we otherwise would have. Yay!! Your pre-fab(?) timber frame was there too. Lucky girl! We hopefully get our slab on Thursday 3rd.....did you see the Henley house on Mernda Village Drive? I met our neighbours yesterday and the family next to them (two doors down) all really nice!!!
Was going to ask you if those boulders on your property came out of the ground? Neighbour-to-be said H3nl3y had quoted them $32,000 for site costs because they said there was rock - although there aren't any holes on the block to suggest that a test has been done. Our site costs were a third of that! Happy at Home Re: Building our Flagstone - Pics of our latest decorating! 37Jun 29, 2008 8:11 pm HTB I meant to have a look at your block yesterday when we were at mernda but forgot, so you have a slab date? thats awesome- we have no idea what our timeline is and are just driving up there every two minutes hoping some work has been done! Yep that is our frame - hope our next door neighbours aren't ready for a site start because the builders have just dumped all of thir junk on their property! Those rocks are from our site - apparently it was super rocky, our fixed site costs were only just over 9k though - my god if i was qouted anywhere near $30K I would have had a heart attack. You were lucky to have "fixed" site costs then, there are heaps of rocks on your block!!! We didn't have any pulled out of ours. Funny how next door is $22,000 more than us! You'll have a frame before you know it, especially seeing as it is pre-fab. I'll be out again next Saturday ![]() Happy at Home Re: Building our Flagstone - Pics of our latest decorating! 39Jun 30, 2008 11:11 pm Sharee,
