I was thinking the same thing (about myself) today, Sharee....though I've had to be VERY patient with our build... :roll:

We actually went to your house first yesterday :wink:

We usually go last, might have run into you if we hadn't swapped! The traffic was really busy in our street as they closed of Plenty Road for the day so we just followed the flow going in :wink:

Maybe if they lay one row a day you they might be finished in Feb. I think you'll be done in a week or two. Better weather forecasted for this week so you never know. I saw your bricks around the front door on Saturday, really moving along up in your corner of the Estate. So many houses!!!

Plus, you have insulation, electicals, a bath and a front door! Steps ahead of us!

BTW we have chosen the same door as you :wink:

Sharee your house looks exactly the same stage as ours - bricks not even half done, but insulation, electrics and bath in.

our brickie obviously isn't in a hurry though! Our ss told us however long he takes shouldn't have much of an impact as they will just continue with the inside (should have plaster this week)

They keep ignoring us when we ask for an approximate handover month. I mentioned to the site supervisor that the lease for our rental runs out in November and all he said was 'you should go close' !?
So we are hoping November. What about you Toni?

NFI Sharee.........I try not to think about it, as long as we are in by Australia Day weekend as my kids have to start school (when I find one for them) and kinder (got a spot at Sth Morang). When we signed up and got to tender they "assured" us we would have a mid December move but when we got to Contract they told us our build time was over 250 days due to our variations. So that takes us to mid-Feb :shock:

I realise that these houses go up quick and other Cremorne's have been built in 20-25 weeks. This Friday will be week 11 for us.

Hope your house gets finished before the lease runs out. Are you able to extend by a few weeks if it's not.

On a brighter note, you will be close to the new kinder for when your DS needs it (2010/2011?) Mernda kinder due to open mid next year so the Council advised.
