Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 387Nov 28, 2015 8:36 am I've been properly locked out for a week or two now, so it's lousy photos for a while. Painter has completed roof and doors. Tiler has got most of the floor and wall tiles done. Best of all, Caesarstone benches are in. Just finished repairing, tying & re-pointing stonework on a 7 year old house the epoxy glue failed Please check your warranty? Hi SBM, what's the best way to stick these stacker stones? Use cement? We're getting them too, so want to know the ways of applying them to a wall. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75739&p=1299716#p1299716 Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 390Nov 28, 2015 5:11 pm One other thing with that wall cladding. I've see numerous houses in our area where theres a brown stain on the render under where the stacked stone has been placed. Thought it was bore stains but apparently not. Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 391Nov 28, 2015 5:40 pm Hi B4M3Ts It depends on the environment (internal, External,Marine) and the substrate (frame lined, brickwork, concrete) you are fixing to. Yes I do recommend cement (M4) based mortars, joints filled and galv (Normal) or SS (marine) ties for large walls, heavy stone veneers, weep holes retaining? etc Follow the manufacturers instructions and read their warranties/disclaimers carefully.
