Love the location, and what you have planned. You must be so incredibly excited it is all starting after such a long wait. My building blog: http://treechanged.com Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 73Aug 14, 2014 9:50 pm Yes, the arrival of those photos from our site supervisor sure made my day/week! Only thing is that I've queried the inside width of the planter boxes (wide bricks used so planting space looks very narrow), so I hope he doesn't stop sending me photos now... http://www.housebythewater.wordpress.com From blank block to new home in Mandurah, Western Australia. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65564 Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 74Aug 14, 2014 10:19 pm It is going to look amazing! What a beautiful a view. Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 75Aug 14, 2014 11:39 pm I'm sure the planter box width will be fine, looks like you could easily fit a row of plants in there. Was there a width specified in the contract? Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 76Aug 14, 2014 11:47 pm There was an outer width, that was reduced as a variation at the request of WBN, but the internal planting diameter was not specified. I had no idea that an 800mm wide planter would be more than half walls, i.e. less than 400mm width for planting. No big deal, but I'm worried it could be even less in two of the planters. I'd like some measurements just to make sure that one of them isn't only 200mm. http://www.housebythewater.wordpress.com From blank block to new home in Mandurah, Western Australia. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65564 Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 77Aug 14, 2014 11:51 pm Hm, yeah I guess that might impact your landscaping a bit. But I believe that most of the narrow planter beds along fence lines are only around 300mm wide, so that might put you at ease a little? Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 78Aug 15, 2014 12:09 am Thank you Trixee. I possibly should be grateful for the savings on soil. http://www.housebythewater.wordpress.com From blank block to new home in Mandurah, Western Australia. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65564 Re: Two story with Webb & Brown-Neaves on Mandurah Canals, W 79Aug 15, 2014 12:22 am I guess it all adds up!
