Colorbond Bushland.....getting rarer(In Perth)

We have selected a Colorbond "Bushland" roof. We were told by our erstwhile builders that its no longer available beyond 90-120 days and (wait for it) we may HAVE TO CHANGE THE ROOF Colour!!!!!!!!!

Some investigation via my helpfull school chum who works for Bluescope reveals that this information from the "erstwhile builder" is incorrect. "Bushland" is in fact becoming a special order item so stocks will not be a plentiful as in the recent past. I would suspect that there are possibly other colours awaiting "The Chop" as well. The supply chain has about 30 days supply in Perth and another 60 days at either Kembla or Westernport (where its made). I dont really know what my builders on about, my cynical side has me wondering if the cost goes up on "special order" products and its easier to get me to change the roof.......ahem........that wont be happening.

Id say its not standard choice with builder or as you said its easier to make you change your choice them then have to source it. Prob means cost for them having to do special order.
If you really want Bushland then tell them the info you found out and see what they say
