Re: Our Hamilton23 with Carlisle 23Jun 26, 2013 10:31 pm So we went to the house last week on Wednesday night, cause I could not wait until the weekend to check it out! But . . .we were locked out! The plaster was up! Although still no bricks actually laid. Our SS said the normal brickie they use was held up by weather at another site, so they were trying to get a different brickie in. What does everyone else think? I'd appreciate your opinions. But the best thing I saw this week . . . . They have started the bricks finally! The bricks had been on the block for about 2 weeks, by now. I agree with the bulkheads in the hallway, needs to be on both sides, looks odd just 1 side. Re: Our Hamilton23 with Carlisle - Lots of pics added! 29Jun 27, 2013 1:27 pm TinaG getting there! How long until lockup? Well we would have been there already, except the bricks got held up. So I'm guessing as soon as the bricks are finished so maybe late next week? We are already locked out though, since the plaster is up. andystar70 All very exciting! Where are you building? Pakenham Vic, it's pretty much in the Eden Brook Estate. February12 I agree with the bulkheads in the hallway, needs to be on both sides, looks odd just 1 side. I was afraid of that, I don't know that we can change them now. As there was no display house to look at I had no idea they would be like this! I can't wait until the weekend, so I can check out the brick progress! See if any of the displays have bulkheads like mine. Then I will ask Carlisle if it can be changed. *So I just looked at a bunch of the pictures on their website and it looks like Carlisle do all their bulkheads like that. I think mine looks more strange cause there are 2 in a line in the hallway. So since it seems like their normal thing, I'm not going to try and get it changed. I'm just going to hope that once everything is painted it doesn't stand out as much.
