I havent been on here in the longest time either, but both you and your house look amaze! Oh and huzzah for career break! You go you good thing! PanRaptor Happy 2016 all! It's still January so I think we can get away with saying it. It's been a few months since I've been on here. I said I would post more regularly, then life got in the way. But it's a new year and change is good. I quit the job I had no passion for and am currently enjoying the life of a stay at home wife. Two weeks in and I'm still finding my rhythm. Most people are baffled by my perceived anarchy, but I just tell them I'm on an ahem "career break". It's actually so good. I love my husband for supporting me (in all senses of the word) while I regain my sanity. So I've been in my house for 1 year, 1 month and 10 days. Sometimes I feel it still looks empty and new, but it's certainly more 'lived-in' now. The floor has some scratches, the wall has it fair share of chips. We've had leaks and dead grass and fences falling over, and all the other fun stuff that goes with running a house. I do like my photo evidence... Of course there is a story to go behind this fence, because nothing is ever simple, but it's mostly resolved now. Not fixed yet though, I'll get to it eventually. Since my last updates I haven't made many improvements. We were gifted some money and a voucher to purchase some artwork, which we eventually do. I added some overpriced adairs teal cushions to the master bedroom, which tie the room together nicely. It's a bit empty though. So the other big life change was getting married. That happened 4 months ago now, but long ago I promised photos, so here they are. Credit to Stuart Holden Photography for these shots. Real awkward if the old H1 gang have left. To new readers, hi! I used to post somewhat prolifically on here. Perhaps I will again. Hope everyone has been well and best of the luck with the builds/move-ins. PR.
