Hi,
We're getting ready for key hand over and the builder has informed us that they're not going to do anything about the 'slab' that our hot water system is sitting on, 'this is standard' they said. This is especially surprising as the HWS 'slab' is marked on the same drawing as the slab of the house so I was expecting something more solid.
Is this really what we have to accept? We have a lifetime structural warranty. How is this going to last that long, our does this not apply here? I'm also concerned as I can easily rock the water boiler left/right by hand. Isn't there a building code or something that would require a more solid construction?
