Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 07, 2013 2:19 pm Hi there, We are building two villas and since land is settled and plans are in, we need to get some decisions made Re: bricks, roof, fascia, guttering, windows and garage door soon. We have basically decided on the olympus brick by PGH but are having trouble deciding on the rest. Hoping that some of you out there have used this brick or similar (basically any darker brick from the PGH silver grey range) and can offer suggestions, help, pics, advice etc. These are the options that we are sort of throwing around at the moment: Roof - Monier tiles in kava or wild rice in the horizon or elebana profile OR colorbond in shale grey Fascia/guttering/downpipes/windows/garage door - surfmist or shale grey or combination of the two Some thoughts we already have are: wild rice tiles look a bit beigy against the olympus brick, so preffering kava at the moment maybe the surfmist gutter/fascia would provide extra contrast against the roof and brick compared to shale grey and stick with shale grey elsewhere. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance, Chris 0 1765 Firstly the ableflex that has been installed needs (manufactures specification) a sealant cap over the top, preventing water draining down between the slab and the… 3 7791 |
