Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 05, 2013 1:33 pm for those of you building who have had to put up fencing when do you think is the best time of the build to put it up? we are only at frame stage (no we dont have temporary fencing around our block/house). would it be best to do before the perimeter paving or after? Re: another fencing question 2Jul 26, 2013 3:03 pm My experience is you install fences and driveways after completion of building the house. Driveways are easy to get damaged by trucks during construction. Driveways and pavers installation is part of landscaping scope of works, which is always done at the end of the project. Once fences been erected, it is easy to design your landscaping and driveway. Hope this helps.
