The bathroom. Love the colours but I was talked into doing the doors and bench tops the same colour. Apparently its really "in" at the moment. Im hoping shes right!! Icecream wall tiles, essential chocolate floor tiles (these tiles also a feature wall in ensuite shower and surrounding the bath) and mocha ash doors and top with liano basins and flick mixers. But its all sorted out now and although we had a few bumps in the road in the start our SS is so great it is making up for it big time!! Cant wait to get in now!!! Yes so great I will have to follow how you go too!!! It's nice to see another M around!! Re: building modified glendale in Seaford Meadows 28Jun 11, 2013 9:02 pm Do you think Fran? Re: building modified glendale in Seaford Meadows 34Jun 14, 2013 2:42 pm Hey Cakey, How kool to find someone building the same design as we plan to. We are done with preliminary contract with Big M. We are in South east of Melbourne. We really liked Glendale 38 Plan. We have extended garage. There is already Outdoor room and dinning area included at the back of the house, not sure what you mean by you have added them. Keen to know hows it going with Big M. Also, we are currently facing the issue of 574 sq m block being cut from the back and now left with 534 sq m. So how big is your block? Also the with studio selections ours is coming to 340K for building, is that close to what you are working with? Will be keen to know more from you Re: building modified glendale in Seaford Meadows 35Jun 15, 2013 4:46 pm Ohh love the Glendale plan, would love to know how you have changed it? I was following a Glendale build blog a while ago, can find a link it if interested? Hope it all goes well cute photo of the kids! In SA they apparently dont build the Glendale 38 they only do the 34 so we basically added the dine on the back which here they called rumpus (even though we are using as dine) and added the outdoor room. Also upstairs the ensuite and bathroom are different to the 38 so we have changed the ensuite to be more alike to the 38 but left the main bathroom so we gained 2 linen upstairs. We too extended the garage width wise. I will try and put up our plans for you! Our block is 614m2 so not much different. We are cut from the garage side(left) front and fill on the rear right. We have had to tackle a 3m easement at the rear that we have had to retain along so our yard is sort of split level now. We are a little more (not much) however I am a cake decorator so have spent quite a bit on 2 ovens and butlers pantry etc. We have a really wonderful SS who contacts us just to give us updates and if we ring we always get a return call that day if we hadnt managed to speak right at that time. My only advice is sift through all your paperwork etc with a fine tooth comb. We had many errors and pricing changes on our contract that shouldn't have been there. After a small battle they did however come to the party and credit us the 2500 worth of discrepancies. We are building around the corner on League Street. When is your proposed finish date? We went to lock up on Thursday! Hi trees. Wow! Cant wait until we are at lock up. We havent been given an actual date however our ss says august some time. Im not quite sure as they are taking a massive amount of time bricking so im thinking sept/oct (prob so I dont get dissapointed!!) Its so nice to be finding all our neighbors on here! A few of us have said we should have a party for our few streets that surround the park at the park!
