my husband and I are first time builders in Central Queensland. We have been in our smallish 3 bed queenslander for four years now and are after something a bit bigger. There's not a lot of choice in land, but we have put a deposit on a block in one of the new estates.

We're at the stage now of choosing a builder/design. It's pretty exciting but confusing also

where we would probably swap the kitchen and dining around?

where if we had the budget for it we would extend the lounge so it was in line with the garage.
Titles for the block are likely to come in August- in the mean time we need to finish fixing our place up and sell it!
