What stage are you at and how are you finding the whole process, not too stressful I hope. We just had pre start last week, can't wait for building to start! Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 4Oct 10, 2013 12:43 am Hi Magoo, we just had our slab poured last week! So far everything has gone brilliantly!! Hope Prestart went well Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 5Oct 10, 2013 10:43 pm Hi magoo I am also building in the wildwood estate, house nearly finished, my DH is also FIFO. How was prestart? Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 6Oct 11, 2013 12:16 am Not Wildwood Carramar but we are just down Pinjar Rd at Ashby Rise (the little estate near the petrol station). Good luck! Done it once.. Lived in it a year.. Sold it.. Doing it again! Addicted to Building.. Thoroughly enjoyed some parts and others were slightly disheartening!! The prices they charge for some bits is unreal! Still all done and dusted now, letter of settlement received Monday so all set to go in 2 to 3 weeks! Cannot wait!!! Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 8Oct 11, 2013 1:55 am Not Wildwood but we are extending I. The semi rural section of Carramar. I always get excited when I see Carramar in the title viewtopic.php?t=62083 Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 9Oct 11, 2013 12:17 pm Woohoo, who are you building with? The prices can be outrages. What road are you building on? I'm on redheart. Wildwood seems like a great estate, everyone has been very friendly so far. Me too AKB not many of us Carramar people on the forum Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 10Oct 13, 2013 4:20 pm Hi 3munkeys, We are building with Content. We are on Wildwood Mews, cant wait to get started. You must be so excited to get into your own house, will it be much longer do you think? Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 11Oct 13, 2013 5:14 pm Content have some lovely designs. Great right near the park Yes the whole family is so excited, it's been a long process but it will be worth it once we have our keys. PCI ha been booked for the 23rd but were trying to get 21st as DH flys out on the 22nd early. What roster is your DH on? I'm lucky, mine is 1/1 Do you live close by so you can check on progress often? Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 12Oct 14, 2013 10:02 pm Yes near the park, pity there is not some swings in it for my wee man thou! PCI? Not sure what this stands for but I presume its the date you get your keys? I will have to get down with all the lingo The long process will all be a distant memory soon enough! Oh that is a lovely roster that your oh works, mine is 2 /1, so not too bad either although its looking like this may become a 4/1 We'll see how that goes!!! We live in Tapping at the moment so can pop over whenever, thankfully. Hope you get your keys before your oh goes back. Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 13Oct 23, 2013 1:31 pm Yes some swings would have been nice although there is a great big park in banksia grove that we just discovered recently, looks fantastic and not too far from us. Lol I don't even know what PCI is but it's the day you go through everything with your SS (site supervisor) and pick up on anything that needs to be fixed, then 10 working days after you get your keys, so the 4th for us Wow 4/1 would be tough fingers crossed it stays 2/1 for you. That's great your close by so you can check often Probably way to early to ask but are you looking at alarm systems for you house, I'm a bit worried about being on my own with the kids. Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 14Oct 23, 2013 3:36 pm Are you talking about the Pitstop Park 3 Munkeys? I've heard much about it viewtopic.php?t=62083 Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 15Oct 23, 2013 5:57 pm Yeah I think that's what it's called, it's great, defiantly have a look Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 16Oct 23, 2013 11:17 pm Hi, Yes I've been to that pitstop park, its great, not so good for little ones thou. My wee man is 3 and he is a little small for it but he is a cautious wee man! Oh fingers crossed for you that all goes to plan. We got phonecall yesterday to say our slab will be down end of this week, start of next week at latest! Woohoo Yes 4/1 would be tough as we have no family here either but money wise if we could manage it even for a few months it would be great! We'll see..... Not too early to ask about alarms, believe me my oh has researched EVERYTHING!!!!! Yes we are gonna put in an alarm, nothing too fancy but I want a panic button also, just for my own peace of mind. So did you do your PCI? Your house looks really lovely driving by, the area is really starting to come together eh! very exciting.xx Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 17Oct 23, 2013 11:25 pm Wow that was quick for slab down. Would love to see your plan That's true, a bit of extra money defiantly helps, especially when building. I'm looking at security doors and windows and an alarm system, possibly a dog, lol I'm a bit worried, especially since our land backs onto bush and the estate won't let us place a fence out the back, they have provided a wire post fence, very easy to jump over. I know I cant believe that a year ago houses were only just starting to be built in the area. It is looking really good. Yes PCI went well, a few things to be fixed. Can't wait to get keys I'm getting a dead lock on the front door, the cross over done after handover and a quote for fencing, if your interested in any of the prices I'm happy to give you the details Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 18Oct 23, 2013 11:33 pm Thank you so much 3munkeys that is much appreciated!! Would you believe I don't actually have a copy of the plans on my laptop, I will have a look and take a copy into work tomorrow and scan it and send on to you. I understand what you're saying about the low fence, you gotta do whatever gives you peace, you want to be comfortable in your fab new home!x Re: Anyone else buliding in Wildwood, Carramar?? 19Oct 24, 2013 9:26 am Hey 3 munkeys I can't believe they won't let you fence the but going onto the bush that sucks We have that kind of fencing all the way along and have to have one of those electric collar things on our dog to stop him escaping.....apparently 5 acres isn't enough! viewtopic.php?t=62083 A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor.
