We got a letter saying our progress payments were due, one for final deposit and one for slab. I sent the authority off for both of them, and now they are both paid... but we dont have a slab yet. Then I read in another letter that came that we shouldn't pay for any stage until we complete it. Looks like I was a bit too keen, i thought they wouldnt start the slab until it was paid. Ooops:/ I hope nothing goes wrong! Hopefully it will encourage them to get a move on, haha. Saw our block had been pegged out this morning. Yay. Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: Goodlife Bravo Build Thread - Mandurah 386Nov 16, 2013 6:55 pm At this stage I wouldn't be too worried, you aren't building with a small builder with the possibility of going bust before your slab goes down To be honest it's a bit cheaky they sent it out because ours used to say you had to pay within a set time and if the slabs not even down yet... Re: Goodlife Bravo Build Thread - Mandurah 387Nov 16, 2013 6:59 pm Yeah, I definitely wont be doing that again haha. Oh well you live and learn.
