I've gone for similar in the bedrooms but stuck to blinds in my living. Now I wish I'd gone for curtains in the living, looking at yours. Table looks lovely. Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo - Teal glorious Teal. 1122Sep 07, 2014 12:30 pm Thanks, they add such a soft luxurious feel, and were so easy to do and cheap! On another note, loving Freedoms new summer range. Teal cushion purchased. And the beautiful throw matches with our dining chairs Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Love the texture of the throw Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Had our first guests and dinner party last night, house officially broken in! Hope your head not feeling the pain today!! Just wanted to ask you - have you got any other covering on your living area windows, or just the sheer curtains? And did you get them readymade? We don't have the need for privacy where we are and I'm interested to know if the rooms get cold without blinds etc. Also have big sliding doors and hate most of the potential coverings for those! Your curtains look so stunning - just might have to copy you!! Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo - First guests in our new home <3 1124Sep 07, 2014 3:09 pm Rache Hey jc! Im actually converting my posts on here into blog posts for a new website I've started to keep everything together so having a totally lazy day... while JC throws up for the 8th time.. haha. At least the toilets are new and still lovely to hang out in, haha. We ordered those sheers off ebay, they are originally from IKEA but IKEA australia doesn't sell that range anymore, so they ended up coming from Canada. They came in just the one size, they are the 'Sarita' range. One pack contains 2 sheers. We used one pack per small window in the living area, and two packs for the big window and sliding door area. To get quoted $5k for custom sheers, and then to buy these ones at around $19ish a pack, that just blows my mind. And they look great and are amazing quality. I think ebay is still selling them, search for sarita sheers. Oh and they come with an ironable strip so you can change the length of them (take them up) if you need to. We hung them high to maximise our high ceiling effect so didn't need to do that though Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo - First guests in our new home <3 1125Sep 07, 2014 3:12 pm jcbissor Rache Hey jc! Between the office set up and the living area windows, you have saved me some serious dollars!! Thanks Yeah we were also quoted $5kish for white wood venetians in master bedroom, study, all other bedrooms and bathroom. We bought them instead from Masters, got them custom made for around $1400 (they had a sale on at the time) hot tip - if you DIY make sure you give them the inside measurement of the window, we have them the measurements on the plans and had to cut 10mm off each, but they still look fine, and so easy to hang! I have picked up our blog again and updated it for our entire build! It is now living on my new webpage, and I will be updating it regularly, I promise! Looking forward to blogging about our home, decorating, projects, photos, life and all the things that make the bricks and cement our home sweet home. This is VERY much still a work in progress, all feedback is welcome! Future projects include opening a rocknsoul store, as well as creating some social media pages. So watch this space! http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo - New Blog & Webpage <3 1134Sep 11, 2014 10:55 pm Congratulations on your new blog and your future business!
