In regards to the veggie garden - there's a couple of great books around by 2 Aussie guys! I have had a complete blank on the name of these guys, but you can get the books from big w, target, dymocks etc. The latest is called the 1 minute gardener... They are really handy books! Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo - DIY Rendered Planter Boxes :) 1207Jan 25, 2015 6:33 pm Sooo just dropping in to say we have been trying to acrylic texture coat out planter boxes and it's not working. Have tried so many methods and it looks positively awful. I gave up today and cried. Pretty sure were going to sand it all off tomorrow and start again. A waste of money we don't have and the landscapers want to do our garden in two weeks and nothing is ready. Stressed and hot and tired and emotional and feel suffocated by sand! Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo - DIY Rendered Planter Boxes :) 1211Mar 02, 2015 11:19 pm Soooo JC has nailed the texture coat, took us a few goes but the secret is to trowel it on, let it dry slightly then go over it with a WET float and spray the coat itself with a mister. Looks great! We spent all day today digging out sand for our first bit of paving to go down out the front... Finally a BIT of sand will be covered!
