Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Splashback 'confusion'. 681Apr 28, 2014 1:01 pm Just caught up since I have been away - gosh things seem to have moved very quickly!! How exciting, it is all happening. Bathrooms and kitchens look fab. Will be interested to see what you do with your front yard as I am poaching ideas. I am thinking some astroturf and a planter box - we have a small yard which is good and I don't want the responsibility of looking after plant hahah Providence Estate - Wellard, WA - Ventura https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68532 Pinterest (all selections): http://www.pinterest.com/aimees88/final-house-selections/ Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Splashback 'confusion'. 682Apr 30, 2014 4:13 pm Haha yeah we want plants that look after themselves too. We are doing 2 planter boxes and a step down... JC drew it on sketchup so I will upload a pic of it tonight Apparently our PCI date is going to be the end of May now, a month later than expected. Don't know why but oh well. Throws all my leave out being in HR/Payroll I need to be at work for EOFY so a little stressful trying to organise everything. Good bye 4 weeks of leave with JC Our electricity is in, all powerpoints and lights etc, and the taps and plumbing is all connected. Toilets are in, and flush Waiting for splashback, driveway and garage door and then we're pretty much done. Will get some pics of the shower heads in on the weekend in daylight, they look killer!! Maybe he can do the hard work and you can have leave a little later and do the finishing touches heheh Doesn't seem like much left to do! Can't wait to see pics of it all done Providence Estate - Wellard, WA - Ventura https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68532 Pinterest (all selections): http://www.pinterest.com/aimees88/final-house-selections/ Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Splashback 'confusion'. 684Apr 30, 2014 9:41 pm This last bit seems to drag doesn't it? Don't know if it helps at all, but while we were waiting during this phase I found a list of jobs left to do before PCI. I didn't know why half the jobs were or what they meant. I think there are lots of tiny little things to do at the end of the build that you don't necessarily see. Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Splashback 'confusion'. 685May 04, 2014 12:52 pm Still waiting for the picture update and the planter design Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Splashback 'confusion'. 686May 05, 2014 11:35 pm HATE our bath mixer. I hate it SO much. It's way too long for the middle of the bath. Looks ridiculous. First thing I'll be changing after handover, annoying as we upgraded to this one. Hope you find something fabulous to replace it with! If you're thinking kids in the future then change it to one that does. For now, get JC to stick a coaster on top so you've got somewhere to rest your beverage Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Splashback 'confusion'. 697May 06, 2014 11:33 am Dukecaddy Does that bath spout swivel out of the way?
