I forgot about your land! It would have been nice if it wasn't a hassle but not worth it otherwise

So I finally have something pretty to post, yay!
This is our elevation, and colours. I scanned the colour sample swatches so should be pretty close to the actual colour, love love love it!
Roof - Colourbond Surfmist
Main render - Solver Cloudy Sky
Blade Wall & Planter - Solver Kitty Grey
Garage Door, Window & Front Door - Dulux White Pearl
Will also be putting in the three aloe vera plants, with dark brown mulch.
Just waiting for our variations to be added, then theyre off to the bank. Our progress meter says we should be getting a call soon to book our prestart date.. Not sure how long it generally is between them calling and you getting a date.. A little worried since I had that week off in hospital with septic pneumonia, and now I have this week off too for an operation. I can imagine work's repsonse when I ask for a day off to goto pre start.. Any Gemmill/Goodlife people know if they do weekend or late night consults? Do they give you any flexibility?
Cant stop looking at the pretty colours

Congratulations. Looks pretty. Good luck with the pre-start, not sure how much luck you'll have with getting an out-of-hours one. You can but ask!

Oh sorry I thought there was separate photo of your scanned swatches haha as elevation roof doesn't look surfmist hehe
My house inside and out is 50 shades of grey haha. Well at least 10 haha

They have no flexibility with Prestart. That's why I had to bring both my kids by myself.
Elevation looks great, is it all Madison colours?

Yup we got a copy of the book used to build the Madison, so everything is the same Lucky we did cause we were well off holding up various swatches of colour to the walls lol

You'll find he builds are completely inflexible with their appointments. Prestart only during the day. Meeting with SS for us they would do from 730am-2:30, handover for keys no later then 3:30!! I'm a teacher so I can't simply come in late, and I work 45mins from home so just popping out for an hour during my DOTT time also isn't possible!
I had to take a day of leave for prestart, which ended up done in three hours but that's a whole other storey! And a day of leave for PCI. The brick, tile and final inspection we booked for 730, turned up at 7am knowing the SS would be there early and I didn't go to the handover meeting, which the CL made a comment about it being unfortunate I couldn't make it (or more the one occasion we'd discussed my inability to do it so felt it was a bit insincere!)
Sorry for my little rant on your post.

Mmm just discovered this. We're locked in now, Tile meeting next thursday at 1pm, then prestart meeting the following thursday at 9am. Funny they said we couldnt use Eurpean Ceramics, then JC told them every time we've been there they have Goodlife details and a selection range.. then she said she would have to check. Cant see why they cant use them in EC have Goodlife homes in their folder... Anywho. Heres hoping it all goes okay. Still havent decided on our tiles or splash back.. going to head up on thursday night to have another look. *stress*

Um European Ceramics and Crosby Tiles ARE their options. I used European Ceramics. Those admin staff aren't getting any better are they.

The service guy was gonna come, along with the tiler to redo shower niche, and also a guy to fix my front door that wasn't sealed properly and therefore grew over winter and now can't open. No show. I emailed and the girl said "i wasn't here on thursday and apparently the job was cancelled, not sure what happened, sorry for the mixup."
?????????? Thanks for letting me know it was cancelled. Wasted my man's one day off waiting around for them.

I have had 2 bunker lights in my backyard, and both failed around same time within 15 months of installation. I am now looking at getting these replaced. 1. Easy question…
