Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 70Jun 20, 2013 8:20 am DavCar13 Looks great Zoe! fantastic colour you have chosen well! thank you, Im definately feeling better about colour choices now we can actually see them! the dark roof will contrast well with the cream brick and what I'm hoping is a grey-ish render.... Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 71Jun 20, 2013 8:25 am On another note Hubby and I chose this tapware http://www.caroma.com.au/bathrooms/taps ... shower-set But we are worried with the shower head height being 1800mm its not high enough... Our old house had a shower head from the ceiling and our rental at the moment has one you can lift etc. does anyone know how adjustable these ones are? otherwise i might have to ask our plumber to lift them....as hubby is 180cm (same height as the shower head). Thoughts, suggestions? Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 72Jun 20, 2013 12:49 pm Wow, love that tapware and shower head! Can't help on the level though. Great roof too. Feels so different with a roof on doesn't it. Saw you zip in and out yesterday as I chased my daughter to the park. Then some guy came up later and started taking all the left over colourbond out of both of our skips! Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 74Jun 20, 2013 1:00 pm Yeah, he did actually ask me when he saw it was my house and I thanked him for asking (after he'd loaded it up) He told me he was building his daughter a fence. As much as I think it is rude as technically it is theft- skip or no skip- at least it is being recycled. Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 75Jun 20, 2013 1:37 pm OMG seriously? wow thats different! I thought maybe Our bricks had been started as it looked like a few out one of the pallets were gone, i hope someone is stealing my bricks too! Surely there isnt enough there to make a fence? Wouldnt there be a difference between fence steel and roof steel? weird?!?!? we did check with our plumber and he said its stanard height....I think hubby is just worried he wont be able to stand under it without ducking.... Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 76Jun 20, 2013 2:34 pm If someone in our family was 1.8m I'd ask for the shower to be placed higher, or replace it with one that has an adjustable position for the shower head. If he doesn't mind bending down to wash the top, then standard height should be okay. Thanks for the roof photo--looks lovely. Thoughts, suggestions? That is funny Zoe they are exactly what we chose. I never really gave much thought to the shower height but we are facing the same problem. I am roughly 185cm and I have noticed that the plumbers have put our shower head plumbing in at 1800mm so I am wondering if it is too late to get it changed. We had also thought of just changing the heads after hand over to something with a height adjustable arm Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 78Jun 20, 2013 8:15 pm I think that might be what we will do too davcar, because I like the shower head and we won't know how it works until we're in the house. Lucky for us we know out plumber so could ask him to raise it slightly like 5cm just to be sure maybe? It's just so bizzare because we are not tall people I'd say more average height so never thought it would be an issue!
