While I had them there, they fixed a crack in the kitchen benchtop and I let them know that the microwave stack I had worked so hard to get, didn't fit my microwave!!! So they had a look right there and then - the cabinetmaker had made it too small despite it clearly showing 450mm, it had been made 440mm. Long story short they fixed it up right away and even installed the microwave for me!!! How did you get a crack in the kitchen worktop? Got no idea. Repair guy says it looks like something hit it on the edge. There looked to be an impact point and it caused a crack through the counter top. Didn't notice it at pci but after handover when I ran my hand across it was there Re: Building with Aveling in Byford - Microwave drama over.. 574Sep 23, 2014 1:13 pm Hey do you mind messaging me details of the guys that did your aggregate please having a few issues with the company that we are dealing with, cheers Re: Building with Aveling in Byford - Microwave drama over.. 575Sep 27, 2014 9:51 pm Hi daydreamer , first of all thanks for the walk through . Your bathroom with full height tiling looks really good .love the colour. Like how they did the flooring over the door frame . Have the tilers finished . Re: Building with Aveling in Byford - Getting Closer!! 580Sep 28, 2014 9:07 pm Tilers only half way through, still have both ensuites to tile and then grouting to all areas. I'd say by Wed or thursday they will probably be done. Then it's just the outside to worry about and I'm likely to take my time and move in first.
