Re: Building with Aveling in Byford - Getting Closer!! 585Oct 02, 2014 11:01 am Those look fantastic!! Did you get your carpet fitted before or after your robes? My build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68002 Re: Building with Aveling in Byford - Getting Closer!! 586Oct 03, 2014 2:36 am We had carpets fitted before they went in, only because there was as a bit of a hiccup the first time they came to install and then couldn't get back till after carpets were in. I actually think it's better with carpets first and lots easier for the carpet installers too not having to cut around robes. Installers cut skirting only where necessary and cut cabinetry to fit over skirting everywhere else. Also if ever a problem with fitouts and they need replacement or whatever, you don't need to replace carpet too My Build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64881 Re: Building with Aveling in Byford - Getting Closer!! 587Oct 03, 2014 9:54 pm Our robes were also done after the carpet Re: Building with Aveling in Byford - Getting Closer!! 588Oct 03, 2014 10:24 pm Im so jealous .I need to stop.living in boxes . Re: Building with Aveling in Byford - Getting Closer!! 590Oct 12, 2014 4:41 pm Sorry welly, posted fm my phone and turns out it didn't post after all. Skirting we bought fm executive doors and mouldings in Malaga then we painted them and hired a carpenter to install them. We had floorboards put in first, then skirting and finally carpets.
