We have a bulkhead above our kitchen cupboards. Doing the math, it looks like the bulkhead will be about 30cm and that seems a little big to me. But it doesn't look too bad in the plans. Upon discussion with the other half we need to decide whether to go full height overheads, reduce the bulkhead or leave it as is. Please help!!! I'm bit bias obviously but I say full height. New house we also opted for no cornices above cabinets I also noticed your space between bench top and oven heads is 60cm. Mine is 70cm in kitchen but 60cm in scullery & laundry. If that helps at all Re: Building with Aveling in Byford - moving to construction 160Oct 06, 2013 10:56 pm LeanneR I also noticed your space between bench top and oven heads is 60cm. Mine is 70cm in kitchen but 60cm in scullery & laundry Pretty sure you mean overheads? then yes, it is smaller as I had our benchtops raised to 1m. They reduced the window/splashback area to accomodate this. Is 70cm normal? Perhaps I could ask them to move the overheads upwards then.
