I have gone over this plan frantically and for our personal usability it seems in practical for us to have doors there as that area is purely for our pets and apparently for our energy rating we needed very large windows to allow a certain percentage of light in .... And thanks guys I can't wait to finally start building this house... And I am more excited about the huge timber stacking doors for the alfresco Re: My home in the making :) 12Jul 11, 2014 11:06 pm Btw Johnno we spoke to the concreters again today, the boss we think his name is Mark and he's a top bloke. I hope he does your slab too, they really put the effort in and the result looks good from what we can gather. Bought him and his team a slab to share and they loved the gesture. Hopefully they do our driveways oh and I'm hearing all good things about SS Steve, yet to meet him but can't go wrong with word of mouth from other customers and even Mark. Okay keep us up to date with progress! --- Re: My home in the making :) 13Jul 12, 2014 7:06 am thanks for that bud i will defiantly keep the name mark in mind and ss steve its funny how when you buy a group of blokes a slab they do better quality and they always do a good job... im sure i will be buying many slabs for individual stages of my build... which i dont mind as long as they do a good job Re: My home in the making :) 14Jul 12, 2014 7:58 pm Hey johnno. Nice plan. Have you thought of swapping the toilet and shower around in the ensuite? You will use the toilet more and won't have to walk all the way through the ensuite.
