Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 121Mar 12, 2014 8:02 pm I cannot believe you will not be updated anymore Immy - you have a right to know, you cannot be excluded from information about land which you have a financial interest in. That's a disgrace! When did this happen? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 123Mar 12, 2014 9:15 pm Honestly I have never been rude to him.just a general asking what's it up to every couple of weeks. With their last update 2 weeks ago however, I replied that I didn't believe any of it for a second and he replied that from now on I need to go to our conveyancer for an update. I haven't responded... & I'll probably email for an update tomorrow anyway!! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 124Mar 12, 2014 9:17 pm I emailed all those emails saying that I would like an honest and thorough answer as to when the land WILL register. Enough is seriously enough now. I've rang Marsdens and the lady, Jeanette was helpful and sympathetic. I'm not bothering our conveyancer as she can't tell me anything I don't or do already know. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 125Mar 12, 2014 9:23 pm Seems that all we can do is rightfully ask for the accurate information we deserve Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 127Mar 12, 2014 9:27 pm That's it they tell our conveyencers/scolicitors the same as what they tell us.. Not much! I wonder what Colin would do if we all rocked up together one day and demand answers? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 128Mar 12, 2014 9:33 pm that would be interesting however I feel it would just be more of the same. Although in numbers it would force an overdue discussion at least. We are all sick of the emails and speculation - maybe if we are proactive and propose to meet with them, this could work. Thoughts?? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 129Mar 12, 2014 9:35 pm Or am I being too political and we should really just start making signs and plan a protest haha Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 130Mar 12, 2014 9:38 pm Maybe I could camp out on the 10% I own haha Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 132Mar 12, 2014 9:45 pm Haha yeah why not?! Let's perhaps see what (if anything) they come back with tomorrow to any of us and go from there. Any more ideas about how to move forward? Emails seem to be done or will be filtering through tomorrow. Possibility of media pressure on the cards. Happy to support however we decide to proceed should we remain in the dark. Especially since now Council are seemingly tight-lipped. You should be able to access any information from Council, which makes me think litigation may have proceeded or at least the disagreement has not reached any sort of resolution. It's just such unnecessary drama for what is such a promising space. The great reputation is what we banked on and the project seems near perfect - a shame it has come to this regardless of who is to blame. Cornish must know what he is doing, despite popular belief, but it does reach a point where it is just beyond a joke. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 134Mar 12, 2014 10:00 pm Yeh I guess we have to wait for a response from Cornish then figure out what to do as a united group Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 136Mar 12, 2014 10:09 pm yeah super_matt, I agree - united as one will always be better than different things from all angles. Immy - try to hang in there. It seems like it could go either way. You have been in it for so long, arguably one of the longest in stage 33...at least wait for some official advice even if we have to wait another week. I feel it would be a win for them if you were to pull out but obviously you know what your situation is and what is best for you. Feeling for everybody right now as we continue to remain in the dark.
