Hopefully we will have everything sorted so we can start as soon as the land registers Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 44Jan 10, 2014 9:50 am I rang council. Apparently its cornish group holding it all up. She said they havent provided all they should and once they do its about 4 days and they will be done with it. Im annoyed that they misinformed making it out like its all up to council now when in fact its them holding it up. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 45Jan 10, 2014 10:54 am I think that did something like that with the other stages too.. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 46Jan 10, 2014 12:17 pm Would be interesting to see what Cornish group says about what's holding things up haha Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 48Jan 10, 2014 4:40 pm My wife has just sent this... Hi I have purchased land in spring farm riverside. In February we were told it would be registered June/July, those months passed, then we were told September/October then those months passed then we were told November, we'll that didn't happen. I was told to ring council and LPI in December as Cornish group had submitted all their paperwork and it was up to council and LPI from there on in. They were contacted within the last week and council are saying Cornish group are holding up registration as they are waiting on paper work from you guys. Can anyone inform me please on what is going on with no ****** or stretches of truth??? Please contact me via email or phone Thanks Emma and Matt Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 50Jan 13, 2014 1:25 pm Hey guys - we are building in stage 51 and had the exact same problems...it sounds like you are pretty close now. So hopefully within the next month you have some good news! Hang in there! Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 52Jan 22, 2014 1:13 pm Hi maitjosh, Last I heard for stage 33 registration is due late February early march. I hope your stage isn't delayed to long... But be prepared for a wait. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 53Jan 22, 2014 1:28 pm Hi Super Matt.. After reading the previous posts seems likely I will be in for more delays. My land was due to register first quarter 2014 and this week I learnt that this will not be happening. I was hoping for some feedback as to what has happened when people have entered into fixed price contracts and allocated a start date and due to land registration delays site start date gets pushed out, whether builders have been charging monthly amounts per price capping policy. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 54Jan 22, 2014 1:56 pm Hi maitjosh...we were lucky that our contract ddn't expire until just as we started construction...but I know others had to pay a month by month extension (for example, $750.00 a month)...that can add up to quite a lot of money since our land was registered 7 months late! Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 55Jan 22, 2014 2:34 pm I'm not sure on that one as we are going with a smaller local builder and are still in the process of getting our final quote. As riverside said we also will nearly be delayed by 7 months for our land to register... Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 56Jan 22, 2014 3:27 pm My builder has already issued a variation to contract based on expected delays (they have issued the variation although the time frame has not expired). That is how I learnt of the expected delays. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 57Jan 23, 2014 7:26 am Hi maitjosh we are the same as matt and are with a smaller local builder.. thank goodness dont have to pay extension fees. Thats a bit harsh since its out of our control. Hope you dont get delayed much. It is very frustrating and im over the wait as were ready to go!! All the best Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 58Jan 31, 2014 8:17 am So, council have requested further testing of the land. So this work needs to be done and results supplied to council. IF all comes back ok then another few days at council after that and then LPI. Talk about getting annoyed! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 59Feb 01, 2014 8:31 am Hi guys, I spoke to Colin yesterday and was told registration would not be until early April at the earliest. We have just been advised by our builder (masterton) that will need to pay an additional $7200 due to price increases. Just curious if anyone else building with a large builder has had the same experience, and if this amount is comparable. Thanks Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 60Feb 01, 2014 9:53 am That's crap!!!
