We are getting the ones shown in the front door photo I uploaded when I found that photo I decided to stick with the standard they still look great Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Corimbia - Greater Concept / Premiere Homes build 43May 29, 2013 2:29 pm Here is our colour scheme colours. Re: Premiere Homes build Corimbia Landsdale WA 45May 29, 2013 9:17 pm Hi Palladian They were very nice handles though...and would of been a lot cheaper to only have them on the outside of the door but yes $700 for handles put them on the don't have to have list... Our render colours are the same as the apg display in Corimbia...I fell in love with the Jasper garage door and always wanted the monument portico when I saw them together we bought in the jasper as our third colour... The apg display has a surf mist colourbond roof with I think surf mist windows (from memory) I wanted them all black so it makes it easy to change the colour scheme later...hopefully the black roof won't be a problem for the energy rating Re: Premiere Homes build Corimbia Landsdale WA 47May 30, 2013 9:15 am Hey Butter, I think the $700 quote for the 4 handles is actually quite good! In comparison, we paid close to $600 for 2! We've got a 1200mm Pivot door so lucky we didn't need 4 at that price. Re: Premiere Homes build Corimbia Landsdale WA 48May 30, 2013 10:03 am Great colour selections butter.. the price sounds about right to me too.. we paid 340 for two. such a pity builder missed more things but hopefully all correct now. Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Premiere Homes build Corimbia Landsdale WA 49May 30, 2013 10:42 pm Our builder has been very good with prices for upgrades. Actually they have been fantastic... I just couldn't justify the extra for the handles... with a long list of changes at prestart the $700 was better spent elsewhere Like my matching built in microwave wasnt on my must have list....until I saw it...now its on my must have luxury items list along with the spa in the ensuite. Door handles or Microwave mmmm Also they were flexible with things like we deleted all our tiling and we are getting our own tiles and tiler in during construction... We also deleted all our paving but we are happy to do this after handover... We are also supplying all our own light fittings for the builder to fit (at a reasonable price)... Not all builders would be so accommodating.. But you should of seen me chasing the postie tonight..lol I was adamant that the plans would be back in the mail by 6.00pm tonight...I even made it to the post office with a few minutes to spare and just missed the postie... I chased the postie down the road like a crazy person lol and pulled up behind him when he stopped at one of his post boxes and handed him the parcel.. Our builder has been great getting the errors fixed up so quickly so I cant really complain...its frustrating but its finally done I also don't blame the builder for the mistakes most of them were us just being very picky and wanting things written a certain way or put in writing so there was no confusion later (or us making last minute changes and trying to get someone to understand exactly what we wanted lol) Some were also us being very particular about where we wanted thing like our front downpipes...most people wouldn't of cared but we sent the plans back twice to get the downpipes where we wanted them (minor yes...but this was something that we felt was important) but finally we have reached the end......and our plans are finished and off to Corimbia and the Shire wish us luck Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Premiere Homes build Corimbia Landsdale WA 51May 31, 2013 10:00 am yayyy! finally all done.. totally agree about the down pipes, we moved ours and wanted them in certain places.. now waiting game for slab Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Premiere Homes build Corimbia Landsdale WA 52May 31, 2013 1:32 pm The builder put them on the side of our feature walls... This would mean that when you looked at the house the downpipes would be on the side of our dark feature walls and they would protrude out and with the main wall colour behind them being a light colour they would stand out... We moved them so they are flat on the main wall still not ideal but our feature walls are what we are drawing attention to and the portico so blending them in on the main wall I think is still a better option. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ In a sense lucky we only have one door not two, cause I wouldn't be able to justify double the cost either. I'd rather have a double door entry than have the door handle too!!
