Lots of computers? That electricity usage thing would be good! At least you can test each appliance with that. Re: Butterbing Solar panels, tinting and all those final tou 1542Sep 18, 2014 11:50 pm The graph looks great! It's great to know how much power you're generating. Re: Butterbing Solar panels, tinting and all those final tou 1543Sep 19, 2014 12:08 am Love seeing what solar can do. Our bill isn't even close to yours but it's only two of us in a 3x2. But i like seeing what it can do Butterbing Solar panels, tinting and all those final touches 1544Sep 19, 2014 9:29 am Same I love the app it really gives you a visual showing what the panels are doing... We love technology (maybe why are bills are so high lol )so when we saw the app for the Fronius it was a must have lol Our system is amazing but definitely way too big for the average house. With the rebate now being so low it's not worth sending too much back to the grid so system only need to make what you are using during the day.. Most people wouldn't use anywhere near 30-40kw during daylight hours so our system would be total overkill but a great advertisement for Infinite Energy, Fronius and REC Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Butterbing Solar panels, tinting and all those final tou 1545Sep 19, 2014 9:56 am butterbing We love technology (maybe why are bills are so high lol ) Haha I hear you! Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing issues 1546Sep 23, 2014 9:46 pm Our builders maintenance is minor and due to get started so looking at having a few trades out to finish off a few things over the next few weeks...only major issues we've had is with our motorised blinds which unfortunately is something we organised ourself so we've had to deal with this one ourselves..it's a shame because the blinds were originally awesome with a couple of minor issues with the motors this has now turned into ongoing major issues grrrr and we are yet to have the issues resolved despite numerous attempts. We've now had to resort to putting everything in writing and given them a time limit to resolve the issues or we will have to get Consumer protection involved as we've been trying for five months to get them fixed grrrr Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing issues 1547Sep 23, 2014 9:55 pm Oh that's a shame, we were thinking of getting motorised blinds too though they seem to cost a bomb. Re: Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing issues 1548Sep 23, 2014 9:58 pm Ours are awesome and worth every cent so glad we went motorised but what started as minor issues could of been resolved straight away with good customer service and the company resolving the problems from day 1 Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing issues 1549Sep 23, 2014 10:04 pm We have had issues with our blinds too not motorised though .abc blinds been good4 .we now are getting them replaced and changed to a premium range but we have to pay the difference .but I have to keep at them still waiting on a price .I still have a few things that I meed fixing .major one being replacing some grout in showers .not been able to use 3 shower for over 1 mon .thats my big grr .the other things will be done at 6 mon check . I dont wont any more fixing done lol . Its hard with chn .I cant imagine working and having to book trades in .so I guess I will have my 6mon check and from how long I need to wait for things to happen I can only imagine how long my to fix it list will take .I ring redink everyweek and everyweek im at the same point I was last week. Sometimes I feel you cant blame the builders its the trades tgat let them down . Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing issues 1550Sep 23, 2014 10:08 pm 1. The day the blinds were installed we told the installers the remote was incorrect which means the motors are not the brand we ordered... 2. One of the blinds had a small pucker and doesn't open properly most likely due to the blind being too heavy/big for the size roller/motor they used We rang the company up and told them and someone was meant to come straight out to sort it out and program the remotes assuring us they would work the same etc etc okay that was five months ago... Too many phone calls to mention and we've been in in person to try and get it sorted ASAP Now the blinds are screeching and making a horrible noise when they open and close..grrrr so over it we've now told them to rip all the motors out and put the ones we ordered in... Or we will take further action Anyway hopefully this will be a distant memory and it will be sorted ASAP I wouldn't advise anyone not to have motorised blinds because we couldn't live without them... Way too many blinds to open by hand but I wouldn't recommend the company we used Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing issues 1551Sep 23, 2014 10:12 pm butterbing 1. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This shows how much power was made today and at what time... For those new to my thread our first electricity bill was $1205 before solar. We are attempting to reduce our consumption and make the most of our new solar panels and reach our goal of receiving a bill under $500 next time. Our system is a 5kw system but with 27 panels which is 7kw of panels spread over north/east/west facing creating a maximum of 5kw but for a longer period each day compared to a standard 5kw system... The results speak for themselves with 30-40kw created each day we are well on our way in achieving our goal..currently we are creating excess which is going back to the grid but once the temperature increases the excess will easily be utilised with running ducted aircon.. What inverter are you using Butter? I'm having a hard time getting my Fronius Galvo to work well with the online tools, it shows online but I get no live data just the updates show.............. Re: Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing Blind issues 1557Oct 06, 2014 9:12 pm It's a Fronius Symo I had the same issue initially I had to go into the Fronius settings and change the setting from daily to hourly. Unfortunately the only way to access these settings on ours is to open the front panel on the invertor and connect a laptop via ethernet Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing Blind issues 1558Oct 07, 2014 1:33 pm On Solarweb do you get a live reading as mine shows online in the box and I can only get the history readings to work? Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing Blind issues 1559Oct 07, 2014 9:59 pm We get a live reading. I was going to get one today when it was up around 5kw but I completely forgot. Here's an example though with a live reading from tonight just before it powered down. It shows the live reading of 44w and also the daily total will keep turning (you can see from the graph it will keep going until it reaches the 39.1kw) and the graph will also keep updating real time Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ and then you can the the weekly graph Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Butterbing 4 month maintenance and ongoing Blind issues 1560Oct 10, 2014 8:13 pm I think I prefer the standard app Fronius has.
