They look so good. I am still in email discussions with LW, refining plans at the mo. Thanks again for the recommendation. Re: Butterbing playground installed 1484Jul 22, 2014 11:44 pm Luckily for us they are just around the corner we went to their showroom with our plans. Every time we go to the "big smoke" we have to eek out every minute with organizing things for the build. After it was rectified the levels were really bad but our pavers were installed by the tilers so we had the floor screeded first to rectify the levels Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Butterbing playground installed 1491Jul 25, 2014 6:50 pm butterbing mr singh Hi butterbing wher did you get the down light from I am trying to go for led warm light look great if possible what wats or power are they All our lights came from Beacon you can take your electrical plan in and get a no obligation quote and advice on how many lights etc Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Here's the specifications for the ones we used. It gives a nice warm light and has 155 degree spread so it's not a pin point light that you would use to highlight a feature rather a nice spread if that makes sense. Still has the typical shadows you get with down lights. Only regret is we used the same lights in the theatre on a dimmer and the dimmer doesn't dim enough so keep that in mind. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ On fully - shows good coverage light spreads to all the walls but typical shadows from the down lights Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Fully dimmed As you can see the dimmer doesn't dim the lights much Butterbing, we have those exact lights and find the ones on dimmer circuits flicker every now and then. Do yours flicker? I'm going to contact the electrician next week and I'm worried he'll say that's just how they are. Thanks in advance! Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65085 Butterbing playground installed 1492Jul 25, 2014 7:48 pm Nope ours don't flicker maybe it's the dimmer they used from memory the lights specify recommended dimmer to use we confirmed with the electrician whither was using at it was on the list. Edited I just checked my photo I uploaded from the beacon website above post it says to click on the tab to see recommended dimmers to use Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Butterbing playground installed 1493Jul 26, 2014 5:31 pm Our journey is finally coming to an end or maybe our journey is just beginning. With the final touches getting done to our house and our four month maintenance due soon our house is finished complete and perfect After purchasing our block in October 2012 it's been a long two years but I wouldn't change a thing. Did we make the right decision to build. Yes definitely we have the home we dreamed of exactly how we wanted it. What started as little bits of paper and a glue stick has now turned into a home that our kids can grow up in and we can sit back and relax the hard works all been done. Homeone has been my lifeline throughout the two years somewhere to vent my frustrations and share our excitement and journey. We have a whole list of things that we've used from homeone ideas, colours and trades and hopefully have given as much back as we've taken. Our solar panels have now been ordered being the last item on a never ending list of things to do. Once they have been installed we can then sit back and say we have finally finished. Thank you to everyone who has helped us throughout our journey Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Re: Butterbing playground installed 1494Jul 26, 2014 5:59 pm Good on you..you have done an excellent job and i have enjoyed reading your thread and have gotten a lot of info as well which has helped me along my journey.you have a Lovely house which is now your home, enjoy Re: Butterbing playground installed 1495Jul 26, 2014 6:07 pm It's great to see that you're completely happy with your lovely new home.
