Browse Forums Building A New House Re: floor plan help please 8May 18, 2013 8:17 am xxkatxx I would prefer the bellmore- better kitchen/living layout, bigger laundry, minor bedrooms are rectangular instead of square which is easier with furniture, WIR in minor bedrooms are a bit of a waste of space so the long cupboards are better, double WIR for master is awesome! I guess it depends on the builder but I would assume that it doesn't matter what a room is called its just 4 walls with/without a door so make them what you want thanks xxkatxx. thats a good point about minor bedrooms, however bigger laundry is not something that I like. Husband feels like with all the big toys, drawing boards etc can be neatly put away with a WIR, as sometimes they might not fit into the BIR. Also the BIR in bellmore are smaller , I wish they were wider as you say, but that's not the case. Also I observed that the Bellmore shows bigger bedroom dimensions because the BIR space is included in the area, where as the 3200X3200 bedroom dimensions for vetra are excluding the WIR space, which means when we include that space its working out to be bigger or atleast equal to the bellmore bed rooms. This is something that I missed yesterday. Also just realized that the master plan of vetra says that there is a void space, a small square with unfilled with a V legend on that. At this stage I am assuming that I can pay extra to get cupboards into that area. Will check at colour appointments. If that works out to be OK, that only problem in this case is smaller back yard. May be we can compromise? Lets see how things go at colours. This is a very tight fit, I'm not sure if you'll be able to achieve what you've described. Would you consider accessing the separate toilet from the laundry? If so maybe… 1 11229 i thought the flipped plan initially but bec i want narrow pathway from entry to dining (dont like bend), also cannot fit the… 7 17261 Hi, Seeking volume or semi-custom builder in victoria(east), which have existing double story wide floor plans.
