Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 17, 2013 11:02 am we finally recieved notice that our quote and plans are approved by fairmonts and soil report on its way only took 5 weeks lol but its been busy so i can understand and our sales consultant has been really great. Thought i'd start now to show our new house. we have handed in our external selections: bricks: vintgage grey roof: colourbond 'loft' gutters: jasper windows: merino render to bed 1: honey tree fascias: evening haze roller door: jasper we only have one undercover parking but will be making a car space under the patio when we save up enough for that. yes we already have a five year plan which will probably turn into a ten to 20 year plan we will be doing landscaping, fencing and pavers after handover. hoping this works not exactly sure how to get the plan up Noticed our block had pegs on it but i think its more for the roads and driveways, not sure as its the first time we have built so its new to us. tammy your welcome to follow our build https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64842 Block cut - 15th February 2014 Re: tristams first home 3May 17, 2013 11:31 am thank you, we didnt change anything from the origal lawson design, but we are only having a carport. The oringinal plan has a double garage but our block isnt wide enough and we decided since we can drive through we would just go for a carport which we can use as added shelter if needed. tammy your welcome to follow our build https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64842 Block cut - 15th February 2014 Re: tristams first home 5May 17, 2013 1:07 pm Hi Tristam looking forward to following another Fairmont build Site Works 9/5/13 Slab 4/6/13 Frame 4/7/13 Fascia/Gutters 10/7/13 Windows 11/7/13 Roof 24/7/13 Gyprock 13/8/13 Lock up 26/8/13 Bricks 2/9/13 Kitchen 11/9/13 Tiling 28/9/13 Re: tristams first home 6May 17, 2013 1:31 pm oh sorry building in seaford meadows stage 6b2 i cant wait, been viewing everyones builds with excitment! hachy where you building in mt barker or it may be someone else im thinking of? amymumma23 where are you building and what house design? there were so many to choice from but when i walked into the lawson in trott park i knew it was the one just had to convince hubby. i was taken away how big it was compared to the plans, my dad was there too and love it tammy your welcome to follow our build https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64842 Block cut - 15th February 2014 Re: tristams first home 7May 17, 2013 1:31 pm thank you tina too! tammy your welcome to follow our build https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64842 Block cut - 15th February 2014 Re: tristams first home 8May 17, 2013 1:52 pm oh there are a few seaford people on the forum. no i an building at nuriootpa, there are only 2 of us on the forum atm. there are quite a few people building at mt barker on here.
