Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Installing a rangehood later 2May 20, 2013 3:39 pm Novice8 We are up to the slab stage with M3tric0n. I've just realised the rangehood they are supplying is very underpowered compared to what we had (we had an Ilve that sucked up 1200m3 / hr). The one they are supplying is a Bauamtic that runs at 700m3 / hr. I know it's too late now to upgrade, just wondering if anyone has changed their minds later, and asked the building company not to install the rangehood or bought one and asked them to install it instead. I'd rather not pull out the new one after handover as I can sell it much easier if it's still in the box. With the company we used to build our house it wouldn't be to late. They haven't started building the kitchen so I cant see why they wouldn't be able to give you an upgrade price.
