I believe you will be very happy with it, what other colour were you thinking of for like a feature wall if any? Not much has been happening since the move, until a week ago I found a brickie and so progress on the front can now finally start. This is design I am working towards for the front Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ So work has started, footing is down. Need something like this, we have a 9m frontage, NO IDEA what to do to it to maximise the space! Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: Scotts build - Baldivis - New Gen [ Build finished ] 371Feb 04, 2014 10:22 pm The program is called 3d studio max, and I did the render with a vray plugin, the software isn't very beginner friendly unfortunately. But a 3d program that is easier to use is called google sketchup. You guys should find a design you really like and modify it to fit. Or mix a few different designs like I did. I could relate to an aussieliving homes design because it also had the footpath cutting across it. Do you guys have a thread on here? Re: Scotts build - Baldivis - New Gen [ Build finished ] 372Feb 04, 2014 10:30 pm Is the studio max software free to download? We used sketchup at the start to see what our floorplan would look like 3d and that came out awesomely, didn't really cut it for the garden though. Sure do! Our thread is: viewtopic.php?t=64914 Please excuse the omg out house is looking like a house photo overload, haha. I'm not sure if I ever posted the sketchup design to the thread early on, might have. Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: Scotts build - Baldivis - New Gen [ Build finished ] 373Feb 06, 2014 9:13 pm No unfortunately its not a freebie. Yeah I cant really imagine trying to do organic shapes in sketchup, but at least it should give you the rough idea. I just went through your whole thread and I couldn't find any sketchup images . I really like what you did with the ensuite and wir though wish I had spent a bit more time with designing mine. And correct me if im wrong but it looks like you guys have already chosen your landscape for the front, and it looks awesome Re: Scotts build - Baldivis - New Gen [ Build finished ] 374Feb 07, 2014 11:42 am Acey No unfortunately its not a freebie. Nah haven't decided on the front yet, the display home is nice but too much, I just want simple.
