Especially the plans, ours had a quite a few errors. I think most builders make some mistakes. Oh, and also make sure they get the Contracts to you before you have to sign them, you need time to review them before you sign. I had a friend build with PD and they weren't going to give her the contract before the signing appointment at all, until she put her foot down. By the way I love the bench top and brick choices, very nice. What kind of errors did your have? I am a bit nervous as even if we check things thoroughly I feel like we are bound to miss things. However we are quite familiar with the changes and upgrades we have asked for so i hope we will be quite thorough.... Just awaiting valuation from bank on the house. Let's hope it comes back ok, as we have about $80k worth of upgrades. We ended up going with a few extra items like eaves at the back of the house as well as the front. Specially when you know that wrong selection can impact the whole outlook of your dream home. All the very best with construction stage, hope everything will go as per plan. We just add some errors where they had missed our variations that was all. Can't wait to see some pictures when they start you build! Nothing wrong with the west, we are building in the south east (pakenham) because it is the only land (thats not country) this side of the city that we could afford. Many of my old school mates are doing the same lol.
