Yes, it is isn't it... at least with the exterior I can get the visuals done! We have changed our minds a few times, cost was definitely a factor for some items....off to Hopetoun this morning. Love the exterior! Personally, I prefer the lighter wood floor, as in that's what I'd choose for our house. What floor is it? I love jasper as a render colour, we just changed our feature points on the facade to jasper and we adore it. Re: Meowsy's Montrose- selections done, some changes! 17Jun 12, 2013 7:47 pm Looking great meowsy the Montrose is a great house. We went for the 4th bedroom and alfresco also.. Skylight is a great idea for the toilet/bathroom wish we thought of that! We used that same bedroom as a study too but we didn't remove the wall ok ours. We didn't really change much to be honest, made the fridge space a bit bigger, added plenty of power and data points and niches in the showers. Re: Meowsy's Montrose- selections done, some changes! 18Jun 12, 2013 7:49 pm Claire, good point. We have gone for a decorative skirting, but Berwick wasn't an option. We went for colonial. I have a cleaner, so I will just make sure she gives them a good going over every now and then. The reason we went for something decorative is that we are going to have scotia painted in winter mushroom to match the trim, rather than stained to match the floor. I have seen some pictures and it looks quite nice to have a small quad or scotia with a decorative skirting... Kaykens, thanks for the input, I think Jasper does look really nice as render. I think the carpet was very good for a Cat 2 carpet- we have a toddler so a dark carpet was a bit of a must. Carpet will only be in the 3 bedrooms. Wateman, the fridge space does need to be made bigger doesn't it. Did you lose much space elsewhere? More photos coming shortly, have just put them on photobucket..... They will all have black aluminium pelmets and bottom rail and chain. The charcoal blockout looks a bit darker than this IRL.
