Hi all,
When it rained heavily today, I noticed this at the corner of the garage. The wall also feels damp when I touched it.

According to the builder, this is what they say:
The Garage is single leaf brickwork and all clay is a porous substance when it does get very wet/ saturated it can act kind of like a sponge one areas of the Garage that get the most rain you will see the dampness on the internal side. This will however dry naturally and even when wet this does not affect the structural integrity of the walls in anyway and is nor permanent. It also does not indicate any defect in the product.
Is it a reasonable explanation or is there something more serious that needs to be looked into? Thanks...
