Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Baldivis 65May 22, 2014 11:06 pm ahahah Take it all back, huge plumbing issue with our supplier so not going to happen tomorrow hopefully next Thursday!!! Heres hoping! Anyways a little update.... House is moving along slowly and it seems if I mention items that I need fixing it always waits till the last minute to be done, for example... Our kitchen bench has scratches all down the side as it wasn't protected even though we asked several times and then was told it would all wipe off but it seems they are real scratches and looks like our panels need to be replaced, frustrating!! Still waiting on the painters painting the correct colour and fixing the render but due to the weather it is a little hard :/ I am actually so sad thinking about all the other problems I think I have to leave it at that. I honestly loved building but this build has well and truly turned me off! Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Baldivis 66May 26, 2014 10:14 am Your experience sounds identical to our friends also building with Content. They have given up fighting to get some things put right and will sort them after completion - even major items like getting the alfresco support pillars rebuilt ! I've noticed they have had a lot of negative reviews removed from the product review website which is a big worry! Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Baldivis 68May 26, 2014 5:25 pm Hmmm, we've also started building with them. Gotta keep an eye out on them then. @powerrangers - may I ask how did you noticed the removal of the negative reviews at product review website? Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Baldivis 69May 26, 2014 6:10 pm Hi Seabreeze there were 1 or 2 negative reviews on the website which I always keep a look out for each day. They were there for 1 day next day they were removed from the website which was a bit of a worry. Fingers crossed all goes well with our build. Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Baldivis 70May 26, 2014 6:32 pm I see. Thanks for the reply powerrangers. I'm with you that hopefully our build all goes well. Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Still no keys!!! 71Jul 02, 2014 10:34 pm Well its been a while since I posted last and you are probably wondering if we have the keys yet... well the answer is NO! We are now entering month 9 of pure build time and I am past frustrated. We had our splashback put in originally but someone decided to think outside our plans and put a return on which caused our main splashback to be damaged. We then had to wait 3 weeks for our new splashback to be installed which happened yesterday and when inspecting today we noticed it had scratched all over it. Seriously when will this end!!! Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Baldivis 72Jul 03, 2014 3:33 pm Oh my goodness - how frustrating! I hope the splash back is rectified soon. I thought this was going to be moving in photos (hope to see them very soon too). All the best. Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Baldivis 73Jul 10, 2014 6:53 pm How are you going now rhi? Have they sorted it out for you? Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Baldivis 74Jul 21, 2014 10:01 pm Hi I am happy to say we have KEYS!!! We received them last Friday but there are some items that they still need to look at so hopefully they get resolved quickly. We are now getting our yards ready whilst we wait for our aircon RHI - BALDIVIS PERTH 2005 Bought/Finished WA Housing Centre Home 2010 Building the Benchmark with REDINK Homes in The Avalon 2013 Building the Michigan with Cont3nt Living In Highbury Estate! Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - Baldivis 76Jul 21, 2014 10:12 pm yay for keys!!!! I would to see photo's too Re: Build No.2 with Cont3nt Liv1ng - OVER THIS! 77Aug 10, 2014 1:05 am So guys, I would love to share some pics but to be quite honest I don't have anything!! The reason I don't have anything is because I am still waiting on items to be fixed and now just this afternoon have had a message off our hardwood installers saying that Content need to come back out and level our slab as its quite uneven in so many spots they don't want to lay it as it will look crap!! Serious how many more problems can there be! Oh and to top it off we had conduit put in and they thought it would be funny (the trades) to fill a few of them with liquid nails! I mean serious, and so they came out to fix them after complaining and waiting and they only fixed 1 of them!! I seriously have had enough of this!
