Building with Dale Alcock Homes in Aveley Our thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=63880 And yes, my pants are indeed fancy. Re: Aveling build in Landsdale - WIR 762Feb 24, 2014 12:21 pm Looks amazing! Just tried to goto their WA website but its not working for me, and my email bounced. Were they reasonally priced, and obv yours is custom built yeah? Our WIR is only 1m wide, but hoping we can do something similar as its quite long behind the bed head Edit - Scratch that - found the website, their link is wrong. Emailed them Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: Aveling build in Landsdale - WIR 763Feb 24, 2014 2:43 pm Love it janice...your WIR is amazing! We are also getting ours done through Lifestyle Wardrobes after handover, found them to be the best value for money by a long way! How great are the jewellery drawers Re: Aveling build in Landsdale - WIR 764Feb 24, 2014 8:29 pm Thanks everyone! I absolutely adore our WIR as you can see our WIR is quite small, having the fit out means there's not an inch of wasted space. jcbissor, they're very reasonably priced for a custom wardrobe, we also considered the materials used as well, it works out to be very good value. If you don't want to design it from scratch, check out the fit outs at display homes to get an idea of what works well for your space. The design we have is pretty much the same as the Aveling Corimbia display, we only made a few small changes. Re: Aveling build in Landsdale - WIR 765Feb 24, 2014 10:06 pm Today we've got NBN and all the downlights done, electricians are coming back to install the external lights and intercom. Annnnnnd we'll have air cond tomorrow!!! So happy with our electricians, they're wiring additional powerpoints for each down light so in case a driver fails, we can replace it ourselves. I haven't seen them myself but DH is happy. I'm still a bit nervous about the lighting plan, will get up there one night to check them out. I thought his wife dropped his glasses off for him though lol. He kept hubby entertained for a while, got him to help and he said it was nice to have help from someone who knew what they were doing, as his last apprentice was useless! yeah having the internet connected would sure get me motivated to move in! Re: Aveling build in Landsdale - downlights 776Mar 01, 2014 10:06 am Lights look awesome! Sorta planning the same thing in our theatre too. I reckon builders just have their own names for lighting channel/dropped cornices/recessed ceiling with shadow line. Either way gonna look great! Eddie is hard at work at our place, poor thing it's going to be a scorcher today! It is looking great so far, thanks for the recommendation pixelbit, thanks! it looks very nice indeed, even the electricians said it looks great. We have plenty of powerpoints in the roof space, we're going to install some LED strip lights in the recessed ceiling down the track, that would complete the look. We just weren't sure if we've put too many lights in there. Annnnd the D900s are very bright! Re: Aveling build in Landsdale - downlights 778Mar 01, 2014 11:21 am Can't wait to see pics of your tiles Eddie works no matter how hot it is lol, dedicated!
