Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 03, 2013 10:40 pm We have recently built a rendered homestead with skillion roof on acreage and are extremely happy with colour scheme - cb shale grey roof, dulux self-destruct walls, dulux lamaraque fascia and posts, white birch windows, dulux stonecrop baseboards. Having great difficulty finding a colour for our treated pine post and rail fencing at front entrance and also in between house and american barn (cb paperbark walls and shale grey roof). Have tried western myall - too blue, tried namadji - too brown, tried stonecrop- too bright, tried charcoal fence paint - too black! We are just wanting something neutral so as not to compete with colours of the house. We are thinking maybe cb woodland grey or possibly raku. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Re: Fence colour to match colour scheme of house 2May 04, 2013 5:52 am we are going woodland grey on our colorbond fence i can take a pic of the posts if you like. i think it would look great with the shale grey. or see f there is shale grey for the fence to match the roof Re: Fence colour (charcoal?) to match colour scheme of house 3May 17, 2013 8:49 am Thanks 1rocky. We ended up using Namadji and were pleasantly surprised. It's a combination of charcoal and brown which seems to go well with the house colours. Cheers.
