Spoke to Stocklands sales person and they said they are keen for that Shopping center to start and would have build it by themselves or offered it to Coles if they owned the land. But apparently Woolworth's owns that block and they still haven't made their mind on when will they start building.

That’s terrible. I’m getting my house built there at this stage. I was hoping it would be before we move there. First it was for 2016, then 2017 then 2018. And now it might not be until whenever they decide. I wish it was a coles instead much prefer it. As they are going to have Safeway across the rd as anyway. We bought land there in 2015. Hoping shops will be there by the time we moved there.

The latest map still shows 3 pedestrian bridges to be built, Forsyth Road to keep going north, a realigned Palmers Road and more native reserve areas.
Any info on the bus route/stop plans?

Update on Leakes Road duplication.

Western Roads Upgrade project.

We've recently announced that Netflow has been chosen as our preferred project consortium. From now until mid-December we will be working with Netflow to achieve financial close and contract signing. During this period of time we are also working with Netflow on finalising the timing of each of the eight road upgrades. This will enable us to develop comprehensive traffic management plans for when construction begins so we can keep the network moving and minimise disruption as much as possible.

We anticipate construction to commence in the first half of 2018 and upon contract signing we will be coming to speak to the wider community about the project time-frames and staging of works.
Finally Good news.

Its good to see that all major roads will be duplicated.

and looks like they are planning a minicity in tarneit which is close to us.

No idea why they didn't build the entire intersection while they were at it, but the duplication starts early 2018 so it may happen during the widening.
