Anybody on this forum whose SS went item by item checking that the rectifications were done correctly - In my case acting on the report there were only concreters on site - now example - a photo shows that N12 top bar is missing for a particular place - Who can confidently say that the missing N12 bar is not taken from another location and put at the missing location - and then photo taken to show that the bar is placed ? I think everybody understands by what I am saying that I was present during that time follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Arden Developments 2449Nov 24, 2017 8:22 am Gen20016 pEast laaa btw, i emailed NHI and asked if they inspect pre slab pour when tradies are on site and the reply i got was: When we confirm the pre slab pour inspection, we try to arrange it so we are on site at the same time as the supervisor or concreters. In most cases they are, and the items can be rectified as our inspector is finding them. If not, all of the pre pour inspection reports are complete on the same day as the inspection, and if provided, we can email it directly to the site supervisor for his earliest attention. I received email around 1130 stating inspection to be conducted at 1630 and I immediately contacted their office and asked why at 1630 when all tradies r gone by 1530 and SS also finishes at 1630 - so what use is the report - I also mentioned how inspectors of others housepect and darbecca had arranged early morning inspection and were present when rectification works r carried out - the reply I got was we don’t do it like that - Ezza and myself had the inspector only do it at 1630 - the time on my inspection report was start time 1530 and also states nobody on site - whereas I moved from my lot at 1530 further I was present from 1500 to 1530 - by 1500 there were no tradies on my site and they had only started around 0730 on the day. u can see the report on my thread plus the photos of rectification work U can draw your own conclusions Hi General How many days did Arden give for your build - are they now paying over due penalty every week for u follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Arden Developments 2450Nov 24, 2017 9:35 am So... we had our tender yesterday and the quote came in way above our budget. site cost was around 100k. the total price sits at approx. 583k for a votivo - had to cut and chop a lot of my lux items ... (initially the price was 638k)... however the good thing is most of the site cost is upgrading the slab, the site prep where the fill was been bought from outside and the house sits in par with the street. _________________________________________ Regards Manj https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88256 Re: Arden Developments 2451Nov 24, 2017 9:49 am Manj So... we had our tender yesterday and the quote came in way above our budget. site cost was around 100k. the total price sits at approx. 583k for a votivo - had to cut and chop a lot of my lux items ... We don't want the house to be dropped below street level so we wanted them to bring fill in to level the block.
