As a bonus they also give you two espresso cups 😊 And if you do end up ordering bricks you get a coffee machine too, even if the order is via Arden. Not sure what coffee machine though as we haven't got to that stage yet. Wow...free coffee machine...so maybe the builder gets it... wonder whether it gets passed on to us.... shouldn't it??[/quote] Build doesn't get it get, we do. We were told by the lady there that once Arden puts order info after we sign we can go back to pick up the coffee machine. We don't even need to wait till house is built she said. ☺️ Haven't tried yet so not sure. Maybe someone on this forum may have? 🤔 Re: Arden Developments 2983Jan 23, 2018 9:33 pm g33kerb0t Manj We didn't know either but australbricks told us. I didn't know about the espresso cups though - I didn't book an appointment. I just walked in and they helped us out. Austral brick lady who gave us address of houses built with bricks we were interested suggested we book an appointment. So we did. 😊 Re: Arden Developments 2984Jan 23, 2018 9:39 pm gopalc folks , i got Hikvision cameras with Poe and chuango AW1 system and both are working beautifully, I think, i should have asked for more cat6 wiring around the house, but its all ok and covered from perimeter now. Going to put NEST indoor camera which will store in cloud with wide angle / two audio feature. Also put Hikvision indoor screen and intercom which make it possible to watch any of camera on screen or leave in live view. Good luck guys... How many cameras did u get for outside? Re: Arden Developments 2985Jan 24, 2018 9:55 am Manj Ezza78 Hi Manj, if you want to install heavy pendants you need to add noggins in the ceiling. Arden won’t do feature outdoor lights but you can add junction points where you want them added later by your own electrician. I wish we had a LED strip under kitchen cabinets but we added two down lights instead. We made changes to electric post tender so no stress if you forget something. Thanks Ezza78... will put that onto the list of ‘notes to mention at colours’ Ooohhhh... love to add a led strip for overhead cabinetry ... another onto that list ... this list seems to be growing at a rapid rate Did you end up going for the led strip for overhead cabinetry? Sounds like a good idea... how much if you did? So you mean in the end you got credit back $44? Why do you get a rebate for the cabinets? Is it because the cabinets are smaller after putting led strip? Sorry, newbie here. Re: Arden Developments 2988Jan 24, 2018 1:24 pm We'ere considering doing downlights after handover if the cost saving is significant. Does anyone know what brand downlights Arden use as standard and how much do they charge in addition to a batten? Thanks Daz I think its roughly 90/downlight in lieu of batten Re: Arden Developments 2991Jan 24, 2018 1:30 pm _daz_ We'ere considering doing downlights after handover if the cost saving is significant. Oh no sorry I mean the rebate into the cabinet so the led strip sits flush rather than sticking out Build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88062 Re: Arden Developments 2994Jan 27, 2018 12:21 pm Did anyone happen to get credit back for not going with Arden's standard appliance as below? If so, how much credit did you get back? Thinking of installing our own so curious to know how much credit they will give back. * Cook top - CIR93AXS3 90cm gas cooktop * Oven - SMEG SFA9310XR 90 cm electric oven * Rangehood - SHU701X 70 cm undermount rangehood * Dishwasher - DWAU214x Re: Arden Developments 2995Jan 27, 2018 12:26 pm Keroppi Did anyone happen to get credit back for not going with Arden's standard appliance as below?
