Any customisations?
Yeh lots lol. Im up to 550k. - garage extension - increase width of study and add a BIR - shower to powder - rumpus to the side instead of end of house - add alfresco - increase master and wir - square out ensuite - combine 2 ensuites for the other room so it can fit a bath -2740 downstairs and 2570 to upstairs - put in a slight divider in wall in pantry so we have one part that is butler and one part that is the pantry. - increase space for fridge and add tower for wall oven - increase space between island bench and the back - add door to master ensuite - open tread stairs option 5 - timber screen between rumpus and living Then other stuff will be upgrade of floorboards, tiles, carpet, ducted refridge aircon, custom shelving and cabinetry for study and activity and living, home theatre probably with big picture people, will be getting our own oven and induction cooktop, pivot door, the corner sliding doors they have, door to theatre, about 50ish downlights, points for internet nbn and foxtel, upgrade stone benchtops and cabinetry to gloss or 2pac, frameless showers and upgrade shower head and taps I think thats most of it! Hehe Theres still outdoor flooring, outdoor inbuilt bbq kitchen and radiant strip lighting we are hoping to do Follow our Arden Toulouse build at http://ardentoulouse.blogspot.com.au Re: Arden Developments 626Jun 22, 2017 5:14 pm geminithinker Special_K geminithinker

For those that have started their builds how are you finding your site supervisors?? Is $550k including site costs and your upgraded finishes and cabinetry? Would love an inbuilt BBQ but had to draw a line somewhere! Re: Arden Developments 632Jun 22, 2017 6:02 pm Oh yes i forgot double glazing. We have to do that too hehe. Does arden do the timber deck or are you doing after? Im looking at composite timber atm so we dont need to restain Follow our Arden Toulouse build at http://ardentoulouse.blogspot.com.au Re: Arden Developments 634Jun 22, 2017 6:06 pm gopalc We are also building Toulouse 49 with Noosa facade. Re: Arden Developments 636Jun 22, 2017 6:15 pm Ya, even we are nervous about it. Have you got engineered floor boards? if yes, have you selection option of install with direct glue method rather than just floating boards which doesnt give stable feel and it can not be sanded later. I didnt know that and figured out now... too late Re: Arden Developments 637Jun 22, 2017 6:19 pm gopalc Ya, even we are nervous about it. I didnt know that and figured out now... too late Oh thanks for this info. Now I'm going to ask about it. Why don't they glue in the first place? And why couldn't you sand? What's the point of having engineering wood if you can't refinish it later on then? I didnt know that and figured out now... too late Tbh we are going to see if the laminate looks any good first. If not would consider engineered or wood look tiles. We have hardwood in our current house and it just gets wrecked by pets and kids. Love love looove real hardwood floors though. What will i do with such a nice boards which are squeaking and after some time be unstable...
