Hi All
We are building a modified Mercer 39.
Slab was laid on 1 March. It's now 8 weeks and the frame is still not complete. How long did it take for your frame to go up?

So if we had 4 we would add 4 months to our build. And also that the independent inspector must be registered with the VBA. We were looking to use Darbecca, but don't think they are registered with VBA, so maybe we can't use them. Arden has modified it to only 28 days in total. follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Arden Developments 3195May 09, 2018 5:30 am pEast _daz_ Did anyone have a special clause in the HIA contract that says we need to sign a variation to add 28 days to the build period for each independent inspection report we want Arden to view? Re: Arden Developments 3196May 09, 2018 7:01 pm i know there's the facebook page now but i don't want to ask this on there because there are arden employees in the group. Can anyone here tell me who does the cabinetry in springvale area? hoping to change more kitchen cupboards to pot drawers as theyre much more convenient to use Re: Arden Developments 3197May 10, 2018 3:35 pm laaa i know there's the facebook page now but i don't want to ask this on there because there are arden employees in the group. Do you want to change them POST handover? or do you want to do it at the build stage? The reason I ask is that we are going to be changing some of our cupboards to additional pot drawers, but we will do this through Arden. We get to decide those variations as a part of the colour selection process. Re: Arden Developments 3198May 10, 2018 6:04 pm we're already at framing stage and hoping to sneakily do it during the build stage because our admin girl refused to do a post tender variation for us even though it really shouldnt be a big problem. im a bit annoyed at the colour selection process now that i think about it because non of this was suggested so i hadnt even thought of pot drawers. phillo Re: Arden Developments 3199May 10, 2018 8:55 pm laaa we're already at framing stage and hoping to sneakily do it during the build stage because our admin girl refused to do a post tender variation for us even though it really shouldnt be a big problem. im a bit annoyed at the colour selection process now that i think about it because non of this was suggested so i hadnt even thought of pot drawers. @phillo They may have already ordered your cabinets? No idea who the cabinet makers are though, very far off that stage! Re: Arden Developments 3200May 10, 2018 10:47 pm Hi all, i am building the bellini royale and being my first build i am totally overwhelmed. Can anyone shed a few details on installing the electrical pit. We are building out in clyde north due to title in august. How do i go about organising and how long will this take? What step is this in the process -does it need to be completed before construction will begin? Sorry for the stupid questions Thanks |
