Thanks Not started building yet but as far as I know it should include a powerpoint and one data point and one telephone point. When you do your electrical make sure you nominate where you want the phone and nbn data point to terminate (i asked them to put mine under the staircase storage). Thanks I’ve tried to PM you, not sure it worked? Re: Arden Developments 2935Jan 21, 2018 2:30 pm g33kerb0t Manj Dear all ... can you please shed some light on the energy ratings ... we are east facing (building the votivo) .... I have added insulation between floors and some insulation on first floor internal walls ... on the GF we have our theatre /rumpus Room window facing west and one sliding door to alfresco facing west .. one first floor we only have 2 bedroom windows facing west ... Manj - I suggest waiting for your energy assessment before you add the extra insulation (unless that is what you actually want). They will tell you what you need to upgrade once they do your energy assessment. There are a lot of factors that can affect it. Block orientation - definitely. Size of windows/glass doors. (I've changed mine in the ground floor so they are the same size in the theatre, living, dining. I also have a 4m+ wide biparting stacker door to the alfresco) Material - are you going hebel or bricks? Your actual location. When my energy assessment came back they only asked us to change a few things: - Double glaze the theatre room window and upstairs floor living room window (both facing north, our facade faces west). - Upgrade upstairs ceiling batts to R5.0 Building the Votivo43 - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88553 Thanks g33kerb0t... yes will surely wait until they confirm ... They must be using some company to do this I suppose ... and can we request to see what the report came out as? _________________________________________ Regards Manj https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88256 Re: Arden Developments 2936Jan 21, 2018 2:36 pm I dint get s wired services cabinet not a NBN.. completely forgot I’m getting a PowerPoint understairs and a data point .. how much did Arden quote on NBN- we will be NBN ready in 2020 _________________________________________ Regards Manj https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88256 Re: Arden Developments 2937Jan 21, 2018 3:14 pm Manj Keroppi Was anyone able to get own installers to do rough in for alarm, CCTV and intercoms during frame stage? I was told we could as they will turn a blind eye on it but curious to know how true that is and if anyone has done that. Also, curious to know did anyone provision space for microwave or is the plan to just have it sitting on top of the bench? We were told that we can get these done externally since most the cctv and alarm models they offer are basic... ensure it is noted in your tender and contract documents though ... Fantastic, good to know so we can get it included in the documents. 👍🏻 Re: Arden Developments 2938Jan 21, 2018 3:15 pm Thanks, we also considering whether to house it u see the bench but also mindful as to whether it will be too low when we come to use it. I also asked Arden to pre-wire the intercom, including 2 indoor stations. Will post the details on my forum when I get the time. Building the Votivo43 - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88553 I am thinking of getting a poe system too. I wonder if installer can do rough in for the data points in places they need it. Just curious what models of CCTV, alarm & intercom you looking at? I am considering paradox for alarm, CCTV & intercom with dahua. Thoughts anyone? Still looking into it.
