Seems unreal. I don't think I'll believe it until we wake up in our new bedrooms. Well, we have had a lot happening in the last few days. The gravel driveway has been done. You may all be thinking we are crazy not paving it but we thought it might look more natural and rural. Might change our minds after a couple of winters. We have also had the carpets installed. I was surprised how soft they were. We went with stainmaster eversoft. Electrician and plumber were here today installing my new oven. So lovely and so happy it fit. Just hope it works as good as it looks. Remaining skirting has been done. Considering it took me 20 hours to paint the bedroom skirtings I think I won't be even looking at the living area skirtings for quite some time! The kids must be so excited! All the best with the move. It all looks great - absolutely love your kitchen Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth...moving in tomorrow! 554Nov 02, 2013 9:56 am Tracey can you post a pick of the fitting gap between your stove and the bench top? I think I'm goign to have a bigger gap than I was expecting. I love the look of the drive but yes in winter might be a different situation. Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth...moving in tomorrow! 555Nov 02, 2013 10:56 am I love everything! The stove is beautiful. The bigger the gap the easier it is to clean down the sides, bradster181, so I wouldn't worry about the gap being bigger than expected. Gravel always looks lovely, especially when freshly put down--perhpas use a weed mat underneath, and top the gravel up occasionally to keep it looking good. Love the bunk beds and outside lights too. And the frontage is divine, especially with that established tree. All the best for the move. Re: Dale Alcock in the Perth...moving in tomorrow! 556Nov 02, 2013 11:13 am I love the idea of a gravel driveway, it's perfect for your location and your oven is outstanding. Happy moving day!! I hope everything goes smoothly and you get to sleep in those new bedrooms asap!
